Husband's Corrections...

Ohhh... what a title, right?

Well, it just so happens, that every once and awhile, my cute, adorable husband opens his laptop and decides to read our family blog, or I might say, "Go read the family blog" and he does. Either way, he is on his laptop right now reading the family blog.

He is sitting there, saying things like, "Why didn't you write about this?" or "No, that's not how it happened..."

You know, since husband's ALWAYS see the situation just like their wives.

But, since the title doesn't say "Jenilee's Blog" but it does say "The Goodwin Family", I feel compelled to tell you all about my husband's minor corrections and add ons to previous posts.

I'm sure you will all find them quite, uhm, interesting.

Let's start with the post, "Tackling The Schoolroom". He would like for me to clarify that the problem was not in the dining room itself being where he wanted our school to be but that he did not want another dining room type table in the playroom. If I was set on getting another dining room type table for the playroom, then he thought I might as well use the dining room. But, if I would like to use the playroom, which he had no problems with, then it would need to be the previously mentioned bumpy, white, folding type table.

He laughed quite hard at this post and loved I Am Blessed's comment about her daughter eating an apple core from the trash can.

When it came to our memorable Christmas trip to IL, he had a few add ons.

First of all, he couldn't believe that I did not tell you about him laughing his head off in the choir. I told him that I had to keep some things out because the post was just too crazy long. So, I will tell you now.

My husband laughed out loud, yes, out loud (spits and sputters) right before the choir song started. You know the awkward silence right before the music starts? Yeah, Jeremy looked up at his family to see his sisters giving him thumbs up and he started laughing like crazy and couldn't stop. Right in the awkward silence for ALL to hear. His more mature (lol) wife did not look at him OR the family and therefore, did not laugh.

Second of all, he wanted me to tell you about the little girl at the restaurant.

Her name was Cara and she was absolutely adorable. Although you can't see her face here, you can see that she was a little spit fire as well as being super cute.

Her dad worked at the restaurant (and named it after her - Cara's Mongolian BBQ) and it was a family owned business so they had a small childcare area in the back. Little Cara didn't stay in the back though.

She came out to the front to steal cookies from the tables and smash them on the ground. She made that mess she is sitting in. She also liked to steal tickets from the tables. She walked right up to Jeremy and reached out, grabbing the ticket and then ran away. She ran away with our ticket before we could pay!

The waitress walks over and says, "Yep, that's Cara! Just be glad she didn't kick you! We have trained her to kick the cooks when they tease her and she kicks people now."

As the waitress is telling us this, Cara takes a liking to Abby and tries to "share" her toy guitar with Abby. As Abby reaches for the guitar, Cara takes off running again which Abby did not like. Abby was also upset because her sisters and her cousins ate all of the fortune cookies and she wanted more.

The waitress was really nice to Abby and refilled her bucket of cookies. Only to have Cara try to steal more of Abby's cookies. It was quite the scene around our table by the time we left the restaurant.

So, as you can see, those were some very important things that had to get blogged before I could go to bed.

"Honey, I don't need to blog again today... I already did... about our van."

"Well, there aren't any rules that say you can only blog once in a day, are there?"

Nope, there are not. I would love for a post about my husband's blog corrections to be the second post of the day.

And, so it is...
