Not Me! Monday - Labor Edition

I have to thank Mckmama for this great outlet for the things I did not do...

I did not actually hit 100 followers last week! What? Can I get 101? 102? 103? Just Kidding!

On to the labor edition of Not Me! Monday...

This is not a picture of me 9 months prego with Annalise. It was not freezing cold outside and I would never use Jeremy's fleece for a maturnity shirt.

I did not go to the doctor, find out that my fluid was dangerously low, get ordered to the hospital for a full induction at 6PM (January 24), go home to pack, pray that I would miraculously dialate by myself to be freed from the scary thought of Cervidil, go out to eat at Smokey Bones, pray again, eat my heart out, pray some more, start to feel contractions as we paid the restaurant bill, get to the hospital and learn that I did in fact go into labor on my own and dialate to a 3 without the use of any induction drugs. I did not beg for an epidural the moment I realized that I was really in labor.

(I did not actually birth 3 children without feeling a single painful contraction)

Annalise was not born early in the morning of January 25th with her cord wrapped around her neck.

I was not amazed at how beautiful she was...

She was not so jaundiced that she had to be on a billi blanket for 3 days. She did not refuse to sleep through the night until she was 10 months old.

She was not one of the most fun, creative and expressive 2 year olds ever.

She does not look super cute in pigtails and a swimsuit.

And, she does not have the best water jumping form on earth for a three year old.

I would never wrap her 5 year old birthday presents in Christmas wrapping paper.

And, I would not hang a happy birthday sign only to realize that we never took down the mistle toe from Christmas. Oops.

I did not put goody bags together for the girls to open when Annalise wakes up for her birthday. I would not do that knowing that I would get a good 2 solid hours of playing time from the contents of those bags.

Happy Birthday, Lisi Lou. Mommy just might have to give you kisses under the mistle toe on this wonderful 5 year anniversary of your birth.
